Strawberries

We've grown strawberries for more than 13 years and we are told we grow excellent berries.  Of course the best berry is always the one you pick yourself.  Since we are a U-pick farm you can do just that!  Come join the folks from babies to grandparents  that already picked the best berries.

Our season starts when the strawberry plants decide it is time,  Mother Nature keeps her own schedule.  Many years we start picking the last week of April and then other years not until May.  The season can run into June or be done around Memorial Day.

We have two fields, one in Pungo and one in Chesapeake.  You can bring your own container or buy a "busket". We've been told by customers we are where "the picky people pick!"  We're known for our wide, high beds (no crossing over the rows please) without weeds and really good yield.

We offer horse drawn hayrides weekends during May at our Chesapeake farm.

To find out the picking start date please call (757)721-0558.
