School Field Trips

We are a small family farm.  Not that long ago most families lived on farms - but not so anymore.  We started to notice that the "city folks" didn't have any idea where their food really came from or that farms were even needed.  We started school field trips to educate the "city folks" on why they need farms to continue for generations to come.

Students see a real farm.  We live and work here to grow fruit and produce.  Even our four footed members have jobs!  Comet, the donkey, for example helps protect the flock of sheep.

We keep our classes small so everyone can learn and have fun.  We provide an educational (fun) field trip, your principals can be pleased to know that this is not a play day.  Many of our teachers are retired public school teachers. Teachers tell us in their evaluations that students learn a lot and in many cases so do the adults.

We offer three different field trips that are seasonally related.

April is Where Our Food Begins.

May is Strawberries.

October and early November is Fall Harvest.
