Winter on the farm.

It is winter on the farm and yes there is still work to be done. The strawberry plants are being cleaned of dead leaves, any weeds are pulled and row cover is put on and off to keep them warm or not to hot. Row cover can keep them to warm and then they bloom to early. Seeds are being ordered (thanks to all the CSA folks for helping), plans are being made for what and where to plant. Classes have been attended for updates - really new things every year on how to farm using better practices. Repair work gets done and yes a little sleeping in while we can. Stay tuned for strawberry updates. Stay warm.

It is now time to sign up for our 2013 CSA. We look forward to seeing returning members and hope to see new members this year. Please see our forms for complete information.

We have a market share CSA. This means you select what you want and not what comes in the box. We were the first to have this plan in the area and it has proven to be a popluar option.

It runs from Strawberry season through Pumpkins. You get a discount and we get help paying for all the seeds and fertilizer etc. For anyone that isn't adventurous in eating or plans to travel we're the plan for you!

We won't accept anymore after June 1st and there is a special discount for those who join before March 1.
